1. Smoky Mountain Brewery
If you are looking to enjoy a well crafted beer and food that matches perfectly then you need to try the Smoky Mountain Brewery! “The Brewery” as it is referred to by locals is a hometown favorite. The restaurants proudly boasts its own handcrafted beers and delicious food offerings. They currently offer 7 different beers. 2. Pancake Pantry
If breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, then what better way to start a blog about the best local Gatlinburg family restaurants than mentioning our favorite pancake house? The friendly folks have been serving up a delicious breakfast for guests for over 55 years.
In addition to mouthwatering pancakes, this restaurant also offers savory bacon, melt-in-your-mouth crepes, fluffy omelets, and more! They also offer a hearty selection of lunch items if you aren’t too keen on breakfast foods.

3. Crystelle Creek Restaurant & Grill
Crystelle Creek Restaurant & Grill is one of our favorite local Gatlinburg family restaurants thanks to its picturesque setting. Located next door to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you will enjoy a serene atmosphere with a relaxing view of the creek and koi pond just outside when you choose to eat here.
In addition to the beautiful scenery, this restaurant also features some of the best food in the area. With your choice of fresh seafood, dry-rubbed ribs, aged steaks, tasty chicken, succulent sides, and amazing desserts, we can guarantee you will not leave hungry.

4. Seasons of Ober Restaurant
The Seasons of Ober Restaurant is unique in that it is one of the only eateries in the area to be located on top of a mountain. Seasons of Ober is located inside the ski lodge at the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort.
For over 50 years, Ober Gatlinburg has been a staple in the community in terms of fun and family-friendly entertainment. Not only can you spend the winter here ice skating and testing your skills on the ski slope, there is a ton of exciting warm-weather activities found here as well, including two alpine coasters, a wildlife exhibit, a kids’ play area, and more!
In addition, there are several shops and gift areas where you can pick up a souvenir or two to remember how much fun you had at Ober Gatlinburg.
You can reach the restaurant and ski resort either by driving and parking in the parking lot, or you can treat yourself to a fun ride on the Aerial Tramway that takes you from downtown Gatlinburg up to the resort. We recommend the tramway because it is a unique way to experience some of the best scenic views of our area.
