It’s always exciting when a new restaurant opens! There are quite a few new restaurants in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains that are recently opened or will be opening soon. You won’t want to miss eating at any of them! Here are 5 new restaurants in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains you should try:
1. Piccolo’s Pizza
Everyone loves pizza! The next time you’re in town, you should stop by and try the pies at Piccolo’s Pizza in Sevierville. They have specialty pies, including The Piccolo, which is topped with sausage, ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomatos, and black olives. Other pizzas you’ll want to try include the bacon cheese burger and buffalo chicken. You can get a calzone packed with all your favorite toppings. Piccolo’s also serves burgers, spaghetti, lasagna, and salads.
2. Sunliner Diner
One of the new restaurants in Pigeon Forge you should try is the Sunliner Diner! You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time as soon as you walk in. There’s all kinds of classic diner decor, from the bar seats to colorful booths. The decor isn’t the only thing that will bring back your nostalgia. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods will make you think of small town food that’s worth every bite. Try the Nashville chicken sandwich, one of the many burgers, or chicken and waffles. Sunliner Diner also serves decadent milkshakes you’ll want to try.
3. Puckett’s Gro. and Restaurant
Puckett’s Gro. and Restaurant is a unique new restaurant in Pigeon Forge. What they serve is different daily, so you always get to try something new! Breakfast includes large platters filled with eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, and other staples. They also have omelets filled with toppings you love. For lunch, you can choose between 1 meat and 1 side to 1 meat and 3 sides. Dinner has a huge selection, from barbeque that’s been cooked low and slow for hours to burgers to classic entrees.
4. Coming Soon: Chicken Guy
Guy Fieri is coming to Gatlinburg! Chicken Guy! is all about fried chicken, from tenders to sandwiches. You get to choose from over 20 house made sauces to dip your chicken in. Some of the sauces include Special Sauce, Ranchero, Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ, Honey Mustard, and Nashville Hot Honey. Chicken Guy also has salads, fried pickle chips, french fries, mac and cheese, and more. There are no current details as to when Chicken Guy will open in Gatlinburg.
5. Coming Soon: Ruby Sunshine
Another new restaurant coming to Gatlinburg is Ruby Sunshine. This is the perfect place to go if you want brunch from 7 am to 2 or 3 pm depending on what day it is. Get started with one of their signature cocktails, from a ruby mimosa to a bloody mary. Try the shrimp and grits or migas specialty dishes. They also serve eggs benedict, omelets, burgers, and sandwiches. In the mood for something sweeter? Get french toast or pancakes. You’ll think everything is delicious at Ruby Sunshine! This new restaurant in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains is slated to open in early 2020.
