When and Where is Shades of the Past
Every Fall, Pigeon Forge hosts just one of the fan-favorite Rod Runs, Shades of the Past. Typically held in early September, this year it will take place on September 9-11, 2021. This Hot Rod Roundup is an event you can’t miss if you’re a car lover! Dollywood’s Splash Country’s parking lot will be filled with over 200 beautiful vehicles for you to enjoy.
This Year’s Prize
All of the owners of these luxury and vintage vehicles compete for a prize every year at this Pigeon Forge Rod Run. Every year a coveted vintage car and a cash prize will be given to the owner of the best vehicle. This year, it’s a 1932 Ford Hi-Boy Roadster and $10,000! With the incredible selection of cars this year, it will be impossible to choose.
How to Register
If you think you have a car that is worthy of a 1932 Ford Hi-Boy Roadster and $10,000, register today! Shades of the Past always welcomes new participants, as long as you register in time. Make sure to send in your entry form before May 15 to be eligible for the giveaway prizes
How Much is the Event
For adults, admission is $10 per day for the Rod Run. Children 12 and under get in free! For $10 each day, you can explore Thursday from noon till 5 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. If you have a car in the running for the prizes, you must be at the awards ceremonies on Friday and Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in order to win! If you are not present, they will draw another winner.
