1. Mountain Monster
The Mountain Monster is a breathtaking tower ride that offers multiple experiences for brave thrillseekers! The Monster Drop option is a 200-foot drop ride that differs from other drop rides because you’re only held into place with a lap bar and nothing else to hold onto! Meanwhile, the Monster Launch blasts you 170 feet straight into the sky with a blast of compressed air where you’ll encounter huge negative G’s at the top! Finally, the Monster Swing releases you from a 200-foot platform where you’re facing straight down and free fall before swinging out!
2. Jurassic Boat Ride
Another one of the unique Pigeon Forge rides that you need to experience is the Jurassic Boat Ride! This gentle floating “dark ride” is appropriate for all ages as there are no age restrictions, making it fun for everyone from the kids to the grandparents! After boarding your boat, you’ll sail into prehistoric times to encounter sea monsters, flying dinosaurs, and lots of other creatures! Don’t worry, you’ll be completely safe from the comfort of your boat and you won’t get wet!
3. Ski Lift Shootout Coaster
The Ski Lift Shootout Coaster is home to North America’s first Alpine Flyer, a 2 seater roller coaster where you’re suspended from an overhead track! While you ride this ski lift “gone wild”, grab your laser gun and aim for the targets as you swing, dip, and soar along a scenic ridge! The coaster operates both during the day and at night, and you can purchase a combo ticket to include the tubing hill at Rowdy Bear’s Smoky Mountain SnowPark!
4. Castle of Chaos
Buckle up for an action-packed 5D adventure at the Castle of Chaos, which features two interactive theaters where your seats move along with the action on the screen! As if that doesn’t sound fun enough, put on your 3D goggles and grab hold of the laser blaster attached to your seat to aim for the targets! You’ll be competing against all of the other riders for the highest score, and winners are shown on the screen at the end of every ride!
5. Gatlin’s Bumper Cars
When it comes to the unique Pigeon Forge rides that you need to experience, you won’t want to miss Gatlin’s Bumper Cars! These are not the typical bumper cars at your local amusement park, but cool circular-shaped cars with dual lever steering controls that allow you to go in any direction! The attraction also features flashing LED lights that make for an unforgettable ride during the evening hours, or hop aboard during the day to enjoy the tropical scenery!
