If you plan to go on a hike at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park when you visit the area, you’ll need a comfortable place to stay! You’ll be happy to know that the search is over because we would love to provide one for you. Read on to learn more! Here is a list of 3 reasons why hikers love staying at our Smoky Mountain cabin rentals:
1. Spacious Floor Plans
Hiking is a great group activity, and we have cabins that will accommodate your whole crew, no matter how big or small. Our smallest cabins have 1 to 2 bedrooms and are ideal for couples and even small groups. These can sleep up to 6 guests! Families and bigger groups love our mid-size 3 to 4-bedroom cabins that can accommodate up to 16 guests. If you need even more space, our biggest cabins have 7 to 8 bedrooms and can sleep up to 26 guests. No matter what size your hiking group is, each person will have plenty of space to relax before and after the hike! What’s more? If your hiking group includes any four-legged friends, we have a great selection of pet-friendly cabins.
2. Great Amenities
Another reason why hikers love our Smoky Mountain cabin rentals is for their great amenities. To prepare for your hike, go shopping the day before to get everything you need and prepare a delicious picnic lunch in the full-size kitchen. Be sure to eat a hearty breakfast before you head out in the morning. When you get back to the cabin, spend the rest of the day on the porch sitting in the bubbling hot tub and admiring the natural scenery. We also have cabins with pool access or their own private indoor pool. At night, go into the living area and relax with your favorite movie! Make your viewing experience even better by watching it on the big screen. Some of our cabins have a home theater! Another way to pass the time is by playing games! Depending on the cabin, there may be board games, table games, or even arcade machines.
3. Prime Location
Our cabins are in a prime location because they are a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced hiker, you’ll be able to find a great trail. This is because the park has over 850 miles of hiking trails at all levels of difficulty. One of the easiest ones is the Gatlinburg Trail. It has flat terrain and a distance of 3.9 miles roundtrip. If you do bring Fido along, keep in mind that this is the only pet-friendly trail on the Tennessee side of the park. If you want a challenge, consider the Rainbow Falls Trail. The terrain of the 5.4-mile trail is very strenuous. Hikers will be rewarded with views of Rainbow Falls. At 80 feet tall, it is the tallest single-drop waterfall in the Smokies! No matter what route you take, you’ll love coming back to the cabin to relax and enjoy all the amenities.
