4 Reasons Our Pigeon Forge Cabins with Private Indoor Pools Are Great for Baseball Teams

The new Cal Ripken Experience baseball park is now open and teams started hitting its fields for tournaments in early March. The Ripken Experience tournaments will be drawing youth baseball teams from all over the country, and you’re going to need somewhere to stay during your visit. Our Pigeon Forge cabins with private indoor pools are great for baseball teams of all ages providing a winning combination for family members, and a little calm in between the competition for players.

1. Close to The Park

The first step to competing in the championship is making it to the park on time. Many of our Pigeon Forge cabin rentals with private indoor pools are conveniently located within a 20 minute drive of the Cal Ripken Experience facility. We also have two “in town” cabins, Gone Swimmin’ and Skinny Dippin’ which are located less than a mile from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and traffic light #8 (Dollywood Lane), and just 8 minutes or less from the park!

There are 9 players on the field at all times, plenty of pitchers to rotate throughout the weekend, and let’s not forget about family members who have traveled to support the team — meaning that baseball teams often travel in large groups and that makes our spacious Pigeon Forge cabins with private indoor pools perfect for teams. Our smallest cabin in this category can comfortably sleep up to 6, while our largest cabin, Majestic Waters, sleeps up to 24! The option of sharing a cabin has many benefits including building camaraderie amongst teammates and also helping with lodging costs for families.

3. Pregame & Postgame Amenities

Cabin amenities

Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially for an athlete! All of our Pigeon Forge cabins with private indoor pools are loaded with amenities that are great for everyone involved, including fully equipped kitchens perfect for cooking the breakfast (or lunch, or dinner) of champions. Cabins also include a washer and dryer for any uniforms that might need washing during your stay, grills, TVs with cable, DVD players, Wifi, and various gaming options (pool table, foosball, arcade games, etc. – see cabin listings for availability).

The private indoor pools are an awesome addition for any team as they provide a convenient way for teammates to cool off after a long day at the park. Cabins with private pools are also great because with so many kids running around, they provide an easy way for parents to split up supervisory duties, and they never close! These cabins also feature private hot tubs allowing the adults a little time for relaxation once the kids are asleep for the evening.
